Within the framework of the RegStrat Project, Extremadura is carrying out a Foresight Exercise on RTDI in the region, with the aim of projecting the position of key sectors and technologies related to the future international tendencies, in terms of technology, economy and industry, in a 10-15 years horizon.
The objectives of this foresight exercise include the preparation of strategic plans with the involvement of the relevant stakeholders of the region, taking the identification of future trends, key technologies as de basis for the plans. It also takes into account the challenges the region faces, and the opportunities that could arise from adapting to these challenges and benefits.
The regional pilot has been structured in three phases:
1. Scoping the exercise
2. Regional Capacities Studies
3. Sectoral Panel Meetings
