One of the aims of the RegStrat project is to make better use of the funding possibilities available to apply Strategic Policy Intelligence tools and by this, to foster research, technological development and innovation in Europe's regions.
As the European Commission stressed the importance of research and innovation activities within the framework of the 2007-2013 Structural Funds, these funds can become a major source of funding for these activities.
Thus, RegStrat actively explores the possibilities related to Structural Funds support for regional activities in this field and has to-date compiled one study which can be downloaded here.
